Hypnotherapy is a guided relaxation technique that works with your subconscious mind to reduce stress, manage symptoms, and promote positive habit changes. It helps ease menopause symptoms like hot flushes, anxiety, and sleep disturbances by encouraging a calm and balanced state of mind.
During a session, you'll be gently guided into a deeply relaxed state, where your mind becomes more open to suggestions for symptom relief and diet, lifestyle and mindset improvements.
You don’t need to "do" anything—just listen and allow the suggestions to sink in. You just need a quiet place to relax. Before sleep is often the best time, but any time will work as long as you're free from distractions. You may fall asleep - and that is perfectly ok! It’s a soothing experience designed to leave you feeling calmer, more balanced, and in control of your peri/menopause symptoms.
The program lasts 12 weeks and includes 12 hypnotherapy sessions (one per week to be listened to every day), 12 wellness education sessions covering all aspects of hormones and how different aspects of our lives, such as food, sleep, exercise, gut health and more affect hormone balance. There is also access to a downloadable PDF tracking diary to help you navigate menopause and changes with ease, an exercise guide and meal plan.
You may need to put aside about 15-20 minutes for each of the information packed Discovery Sessions as they full of important information that will help you with the changes that need to be made during this transition.
These can be done at the same time as the hypnotherapy sessions - you do not need to wait to complete all the hypno-sessions before starting the Discovery sessions. And you may want to go over them more than once to ensure you benefit from all the information. Just make sure to do them separately to the Hypnotherapy sessions.
